How practise you lot stop collars on polo shirts crimper?

I have a few polo shirts, some cheap, some better quality ( Abercrombie, Hollister, Ralph Laren etc). But the same problem with them is that after a few washes the collars starting time doing their own thing. They coil upwardly, stick upward, become in different directions and there seems Goose egg I tin practise about it. Whatever tips? :(

  • My get-go, Viz-manner piece of communication is that yous could cut out 2 triangular pieces of card and gum them underneath each neckband thus maintaining stiffness.

    My 2nd is that you try that spray on fe starch that you use, well, whilst ironing.
    My friend used to use information technology to go on his shirt collars stiff.

    I would/do just wear the neckband's upwardly anyhow. Information technology is better and more stylish I recall.

    The starch suggestion is the winner I think. Plus ironing Against the curl.

    Really - this curling effect would still effect you Mr Stuffing, every bit they won't stay up properly if they start to curl!

    I wear mine turned upwards, but accept never had a trouble with the ends curling. I've got Lacoste, Henry Lloyd, Ralph Lauren and Hackett polos.
    ....and I don't care if anyone thinks I look a tw*t. I'm not wearing them for anyone else.

    My eldest daughter has a Ralph Lauren polo clothes and she looks smashing with the collar turned up. A proper inferior Sloaney!

    I know! Fully aware of that - just I even so think it looks stupid. I have, on occassions, been known to point and laugh. As Barry said, although he viewed it as a good affair, it's all rather "Sloaney"!!

    Exactly Barry - this is the way forwards. Styles change- we are living in the 2000's not the 1910'southward!.

    Really, wearing your collar upwardly is now confined to rugger b*ggers. Zilch wrong with it, but new sloanes wouldn't be seen dead in one.

    The reason they stick upwards, is non following the washing and drying instructions.
